Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician A for our Martin Brower shop in Pompano Beach. Thermo King experience is a plus but we will train you on that if necessary.
Shift: Full-Time l Tues - Friday 10am-6:30pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00/hr, depending upon experience and qualifications

Position Summary:
A Trailer Upfitting Technician A is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of Company Fleet assets within the Reyes Holdings family of businesses.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
- Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders for repairs through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
- Ability to inspect, repair, and install trailer refrigeration and heating units (ThermoKing and Carrier)
- Ability to perform structural welding and metal cutting/fabrication
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and install hydraulic liftgate components
- Diagnose trailer mechanical components (suspension, brake, electrical) and repair properly.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and install trailer roll-up and swing doors
- Identify structural integrity and body of the asset to properly repair and replace as needed
- Ability to properly install external graphics
- Capability to perform FMCSA annual inspection certification
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work in a safe manner, per company, local, state and federal policies and regulations
- Train other employees, act as a mentor
- Other projects or duties as assigned
