As a member of the Infrastructure Planning team, this role plays an integral part in enabling NPSG's mission of supporting all Regional Producing Bottlers (RPBs) by maximizing System production efficiencies and market opportunities to strengthen the competitiveness of the Coca-Cola System in the United States. This position plays a vital role in: (1) Designing, Deploying, and Maintaining Network Optimization Models, (2) Developing tools and processes to assess long range production capacity and mitigation plans, (3) Preparing insights and facilitating long-range planning routines with Bottling Partners, (4) Performing analysis and business case development of capital investment and divestment opportunities.
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is an expert in the areas of supply chain optimization and data analysis and is responsible for translating network modeling results into analytical insights that drive financial and business case recommendations to Bottler Senior Leadership and the NPSG Board. This position will oversee multiple large-scale, complex projects and support ongoing process improvement for existing tools / capabilities through our internal change the business initiatives.

These activities require strong analytical capabilities, extensive supply chain optimization software knowledge, ability to collaborate and manage cross-functional project teams, experience with change management best practices, demonstrated ability to mentor and develop the skillet of others, and effective communication of complex business cases to senior leadership.
Develop Supply Chain business cases in support RPB supply chain infrastructure strategies
- Gather and analyze supply chain data such as forecasts, freight costs, manufacturing costs, capital requirements, and production capacity to develop supply chain models
- Utilize the Lyric software platform to assess optimal locations for capacity and capability additions, determine optimal plant to distribution center sourcing plans, evaluate plant consolidations and greenfield opportunities
- Leverage insights from optimization results and cross-functional teams to develop recommendations
- Serve as Lyric SME for NPSG on projects with the highest degree of complexity
- Create value chains and IRR models, perform cash flow analysis, and develop business cases for capital investment justification
- Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously independently
Lead Infrastructure Planning projects through established validation processes with key stakeholders
- Lead or participate in validation discussions and cadences with cross-functional teams to review modeling and financial assumptions and outputs associated with each business case. Represent the work of others as/if needed
- Create necessary supporting documents such as RPB specific sourcing files and financials to enable project validation discussions (utilize Tableau, PowerBI, Lyric, Excel, PPT)
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback in reviewed recommendations as needed to finalize business case and gain stakeholder alignment
Create presentations for NPSG and RPB senior management regarding the recommendation of various projects
- Present project-based findings, insights, and recommendations to the NPSG Board and Forum members, Senior Leadership within RPBs, and Regional Bottler Personnel
- Summarize capital requirements and expected financial results (payback, NPV, IRR, ROI)
- Track and report the progress of implemented projects and workstreams
- Provide workstream and process updates to NPSG Board as needed
Support continuous improvement initiatives for Infrastructure Planning and the maintenance of existing tools
- Independently identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Update and maintain tools used for modeling and project assessments. Including the support of opportunities identified as part of a multi-year capability road map and change the business initiatives
- Identify opportunities to leverage new software or tools that improve process efficiency in the area of network optimization
Train, mentor, and coach Senior Supply Chain Analysts
- Develop and update training materials and onboarding schedule as needed
- Provide coaching to peers and junior associates as needed, conduct training during onboarding of new team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or Business
- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
- Direct experience with network modeling and supply chain optimization, understanding of network optimization principles and relational databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills - including the ability to assess situations, identify discrete problem areas, determine scenarios for analysis, and recommend sound conclusions
- Experience synthesizing key takeaways across wide range of data sources and translating into defined opportunities
- Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build & deliver structured & compelling communications (both written and verbal)
