Overview: As the Senior Director, North America Workplace Operations, you will ensure high performance, reliability, and operational excellence at our global headquarters (the AOC) and across all field office locations in North America. You will oversee amenity services, regional experience, and asset and infrastructure management while collaborating closely with the regional networked team to provide efficient, effective, and experiential workspaces.

What You'll Do for Us

Leadership and Culture:

  • Create and lead a culture prioritizing safety, customer service, associate experience, compliance, and quality.
  • Collaborate fully with the Global Real Estate and Workplace (GRW) Networked Organization and Operations Capability Center.
  • Provide leadership and people management to a diverse team, ensuring their growth and alignment with organizational objectives.

Third-Party Management:

  • Direct third-party partner operations, activities, and resources for workplace-related services across offices, labs, manufacturing, and warehouses.
  • Ensure the delivery of best-in-class workplace services, asset management, and asset renewal, alongside OPEX and Capital Planning.

Service Delivery:

  • Lead and manage third-party partners for Asset Management, Facility Management, and Amenities, Records, Food Service and Vending Services.
  • Create and deliver the regional annual business plan.
  • Work with GRW Finance Team to accurately forecast and report financial and operational performance.
  • Oversee Facility Management services and operations.
  • Ensure Environmental Health and Safety compliance.
  • Balance investment with the associate experience for amenity services.
  • Implement effective records and storage process.
  • Execute GRW strategies and programs and manage escalations.
  • Establish operational standards and procedures for newly designed or renovated workspaces in North America.

Asset Management:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Global Asset Reliability, to improve equipment/system dependability and compliance through Asset Management & Reliability programs.
  • Coordinate engineers, technicians, and other resources to enhance cost-effective asset maintenance and projects.

Asset Renewal/OPEX and Capital Planning:

  • Work with third party vendor to evaluate building condition assessments and prioritize investments for various locations in North America
  • Contribute to the 5-year strategic plan for infrastructure and interior priorities.

Communications and Stakeholder Management:

  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills with senior leadership to ensure alignment and execution of organizational goals.
  • Regularly update senior leadership on key initiatives, challenges, and progress in workplace operations.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaborative and innovative solutions.

Emergency and Business Continuity Planning:

  • Develop and maintain current and up-to-date business continuity plans to ensure limited downtime in the event of emergencies.
  • Effectively handle emergencies by implementing contingency plans and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to minimize impact on facility operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing workplace operations, facilities, and third-party services.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills.
  • Expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, and capital planning.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Position may require occasional travel to global company locations and project sites.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexible hours to accommodate global time zones.
