Senior Director, Global Retirement Delivery

This is a global position with flexible location options and involves leading a team.

As the Senior Director, Global Retirement, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience and the effective delivery of Retirement plans for North America as well as various globally delivered retirement plans. This role involves overseeing the implementation and accurate execution of retirement programs as assigned. Your responsibilities will encompass delivery of both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans.

You will collaborate with various departments, including Operating Units, Total Rewards Center of Expertise, Procurement, Human Resources Technology, Treasury, Payroll, and Employee Relations, to ensure seamless operations. Where applicable, you will also oversee the performance of vendors providing Retirement programs. Additionally, you will have people management responsibilities, leading a team of 3 retirement professionals. You will also participate as a Total Rewards Operations leadership team member to help set a global vision and execution strategy for the broader team.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for successful delivery of retirement plans (Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans).
  • Responsible for vendor spend for retirement plans.
  • Continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies benefit delivery opportunities and risks across global retirement plans (Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit)
  • Develops, reviews, refines, and leads benefit delivery product roadmap execution globally as well as responsible for managing the backlog for global strategic priorities in areas of accountability.
  • Lead and/or participate in cross functional teams during the review, selection, and implementation of benefit vendors.
  • Leads network overseeing subject areas to drive consistency, build regional independence, identify, and close gaps in risk framework to ensure financial and customer risks are effectively managed with People Services benefits delivery function.
  • Partners with Global Benefits Center of Expertise, Global Procurement and other corporate and People Services functions to align on priorities and ensure successful delivery of related key People Function priorities.
  • Directly manages 1 Retirement Senior Manager and 2 Retirement Managers in multiple locations/countries with ~20 indirect reports from operational and regional teams.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.


Related Work Experience:


  • 10 years' experience managing the delivery of rewards plans and programs globally.
  • Proven experience of third-party vendor management in the Total Rewards field driving successful vendor delivery.
  • Experience managing defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration strongly preferred
  • Experience implementing rewards plans across multiple geographies
