Senior Director B2B Platform & Digital Services - LATAM OU

B2B digital platform has experienced an accelerated growth in the last 5 years, achieving 3.6M customers coverage and 45% revenue mix in traditional trade channel. The Senior Director B2B Platform & Digital Services will lead the expansion and enhancement of KOS B2B digital platform & financial services across all Bottlers in LATAM. Utilizing existing solutions and third-party innovations, this leader will drive strategic initiatives in loyalty programs, personalization, user experience, and financial services to significantly enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

  • B2B Digital Platform Expansion: Spearhead the expansion of B2B digital platforms across all Bottlers in LATAM, leveraging existing solutions from bottlers like FEMSA, ARCA, Andina, and developments from third-party solutions such as Sales Code.
  • Order Taking: Develop and implement new order taking/generation models to provide the flexibility (anytime, anywhere) required by our customers and consumers, including advanced analytics/AI based solutions.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to improve flexibility in our service models to match customer and consumer expectations.
  • Loyalty Program Development: Develop B2B capabilities to enhance customer loyalty by ensuring compliance with KOS priority portfolios by channel, execution guidelines, and price suggestions.
  • Personalization and User Experience (UX): Partner with Bottlers to strategize and deliver personalized superior experiences for customers in the digital sphere.
  • Financial Services Development: Lead the development and implementation of credit solutions to increase coverage of KO portfolio with a potential growth of 3% in net sales revenue. Foster the deployment of digital payment methods, including digital wallets and top-up services, to enable cashless transactions.
  • Partner with external parties such as Kamay, universities and other CPGs under an open-source organization approach to create Digital ecosystems, expanding KO system reach and improve economics.

KeY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

Experience

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in Digital and Commercial Planning and Execution, with robust skills in digital platforms, route to market, market execution, and franchise leadership.
  • Thought Leadership: Demonstrated ability to generate innovative thinking about our business and identify efficient methods to reach targeted consumers.
  • System Knowledge: Proven expertise in Digital B2B solutions, RTM, and customer relations. A deep understanding of bottler economics, system leverages, order to cash processes, and tools to optimize solutions with customers across channels.
  • Analytical and Conceptual Skills: Strong ability to think holistically from planning to execution, coupled with comprehensive commercial and digital capabilities.
  • Data Interpretation & Presentation: Proficient in understanding complex data and conveying it in a meaningful way to customers and bottlers through storytelling, addressing their business needs.
  • Bottler Experience: Preferable experience with bottling operations, with a proven track record of engaging with bottler stakeholders.

Work Focus

  • This role requires proven Sales and Commercial understanding and a very solid system experience and perspective as well as highly developed digital skills, combined with the ability to make complex business concepts understandable and compelling.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional support and cross-system alignment, not least leading and smoothly running alignment and collaboration to ensure that OU digital strategies are fully owned by Franchise VPs and GMs and the system across the OU
  • Solid understanding of System business fundamentals and drivers of growth/value across a broad range of business dimensions and advanced commercial finance skills
  • This role must be able to influence bottlers investments in required digital capability to achieve our LATAM System growth ambition and leverage existing solutions across markets.
  • To be successful, this role needs strong communication and collaboration skills as well as highly developed project management, business development and negotiation skills with experience from driving complex cross-functional, cross-system projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

Communication Focus

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and key Bottling partners
  • Internal Communication: Effectively communicate digital solutions, priorities, and plans to the Operating Unit (OU) leadership team, LATAM C&CL, Global C&CL teams and other Senior Management.
  • System Communication: Engage and align digital initiatives, along with their rationale and implications, with bottler senior leaders (VPs and CEOs).
