The Sales Analyst, E-Commerce is responsible for supporting full BASN e-commerce business (Brick & Click, Pure Play and Delivery Retailers/Services). The Sales Analyst supports BASN's eCommerce efforts by driving key growth objectives (revenue growth, share growth, profit growth) through digital shelf obsession, driving product awareness with DSP/Search, the right portfolio activation plan and fostering strong customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING & EXECUTION
- Work with the e-commerce Sr. Key Account Manager to build long-term strategies and goals for BASN eCommerce in partnership with retailer goals and consumer/industry trends.
- Analyze marketing and sales investment allocations based on strategic return on investment
- Analyze market trends and insights; adapt strategies based on consumer and competitive context
- Partner with external stakeholders and vendors which include eCommerce broker/agency partner, insights vendors, digital shelf and content providers
- Consistently analyze competitive set and industry best practices to provide recommendations for digital shelf enhancement
- Oversee e-commerce business forecasting to ensure consistent product supply and view of business performance
- Own and optimize weekly eCommerce sales and share reporting to measure the impact of plans on performance.
- OWNERSHIP OF PURE PLAY CUSTOMERS
- Support business relationships with key e-commerce customers
- Achieve volume and share targets (when applicable) within established budget of all Pure Play customers (e.g. Amazon, Walmart.com, goPuff and Fresh Direct).
- Manage e-commerce marketing and trade budgets to ensure spend aligns with allocated budget
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required
- 2+ Years experience with analyzing data sets, e-commerce or direct sales in the CPG industry required
- Ability to utilize and mine syndicated data to translate into fact-based story telling required
- Must be self-motivated and highly organized with a strong desire to produce results with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed.
- Must be able to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan & manage the required change. the ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals is essential.
- Must have a passion for building brands, new products, and long-term growth.
- Solid computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word. Strong understanding and analytical skills in understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data.
- Position requires travel (20%) by car and plane
- Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings
- Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
