The Director of Brand Communications is responsible for creating and executing global brand campaigns and launches for The Coca-Cola Company. Cross functional collaboration is critical, and the ideal candidate is an innovative storyteller who knows how to activate multichannel communications strategies and is passionate about music, entertainment and is voracious consumer of content.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

What You'll Do for Us

  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans to promote our brands across various media channels and in collaboration with partners.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key reporters across industries with a focus on consumer, music and outlets that reach Gen Z.

  • Identify high impact executive communications opportunities to tell our brand stories through earned, owned and social channels.
  • Protect and enhance TCCC's corporate reputation with key audiences through earned and social first strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross functional partners including our agency partners, functional leaders, legal, policy and marketing to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Create compelling press material including global plans and playbooks to maximize media exposure and reach key audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create unified brand voices across all communication channels.
  • Manage crisis communications and opportunities for experiential storytelling.
  • Measure and iterate on campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to continue evolving the brand PR function.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in PR, in-house or agency.
  • Able to travel in the US and internationally. Up to 20% travel.
  • Experience launching multiple product campaigns simultaneously.
  • Music, entertainment, sports or creator experience preferred.
  • Top skillsets needed: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of industry trends and cutting-edge communications strategies to reach audiences through earned, owned and executive channels.

Position Details:

Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual

Individual contributor role - no direct reports
