The BI Analyst partners with their manager and their assigned department heads to gather requirements, design, build and deploy various ad-hoc reports and other BI Solutions to effectively and efficiently meet business needs. This role should work within agreed-upon governance and is accountable for creating documentation of solutions and processes, and for providing training and support to business partners where needed; with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates cross-functionally and meets with Business Partners across the organization to gather requirements, identify gaps, design, build, and deploy BI solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel
- Modifies and executes database queries and conducts analyses of current tools and processes to identify gaps and to continuously add value to the organization and improve performance
- Coordinates with Business Managers to translate business requirements into coherent Business Intelligence (BI) Reports, leveraged by business leaders to support informed decision making
- Validates BI Solutions or data integrity, quality, and accuracy (testing); Performs and documents data analysis, data validation, data mapping, design, produce data samples, prototypes and produce ad-hoc reports
- Provides ad-hoc solutions to answer different business questions including researching, investigating, and partnering cross-functionally to solve various business problems through analysis and one-off reporting
- Prepares and maintains BI Reporting and analysis; Creates required documentation on all projects using pre-defined templates and keeps documentation up to date on any existing report changes and facilitate training and rollout of new tools

Minimum Qualifications
- 0-1 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
