Position Overview:

This role will be central in scaling our growing Alcoholic Ready to Drink (ARTD) portfolio in Great Britain. We have big ambitions for ARTDs, we have two successful launches to date in Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola as well as Absolut and Sprite and the future ambition sets us up to accelerate. Working with our global and regional category teams, alongside our bottling partners, you will play a key role in developing our long-term ARTD strategy through to in-store execution.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Operationalize the plan

  • Provide System leadership for the development and implementation of an aligned Business Plan ensuring volume and profit growth in the short / mid-term. Provide strategic direction and day to day support on areas of interest including strategy, marketing, commercial, revenue growth management, route to market, value chain optimization, and business models.
  • Ensure that all initiatives achieve the specified KPIs, working closely with involved functions and bottler.
  • Ensure that all initiatives activated in market are fully optimized, leveraging best practice execution and in-store activation, and maximizing the opportunity.
  • Support execution of integrated consumer, shopper and commercial plans based on BP/System mitigation/acceleration agreement collaborating with System partners
  • Provide value-added consumer/ shopper, trade, competition and general country information
  • Support key system routines that will enable efficient and fast decision-making to drive forward the plan.
  • Business monitoring through periodic performance reports

Opportunity Identification & Implementation

  • Deep understanding of local consumer and customers' needs in key channels, in order to guarantee best strategies to address main opportunities.
  • Support the identification of incremental revenue & volume, channel/customer opportunities (by country, by brand, by channel by package, by consumption occasion, by category) that will enable the business to grow ahead of market and competition in the short or longer term.
  • Work with networked resources (RGM, Marketing, CCL, Strategy, etc.) and bottler to develop and implement programs that capitalize on identified opportunities, including definition of clear KPIs i.e. format and sub-category innovation

Lead/Support Strategic Projects

  • Work closely with the bottler to improve internal processes in order to maximize speed and effectiveness of Company's response to changing market conditions and enhance system capabilities.
  • Support key projects of system from TCCC side that have big impact for today or tomorrow (Capability needs, go to market approach)
  • Define opportunities for segmented execution and collaborate with the bottler on developing plans that capture this incremental

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Excellent business and/or functional experience in Operations/Marketing/Commercial with preferred knowledge of GB customer landscape.
  • Preferred experience working within alcohol categories, preferably within ARTDs.
  • Commercial knowledge (shopper marketing, channel strategy, customer management, negotiations, and local market understanding)
  • Solid understanding of portfolio management, identification of opportunities for growth & priority setting within expanded framework of responsibilities
  • Good ability to identify patterns from data and to identify drivers and conclusions.
  • Must have strong ability to transfer strategies into execution plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; influential skills
  • Proven experience at managing complex and challenging projects
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships with key business partners, comfortable in working with senior leaders
