Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern Human Resources Project Management position in Montreal, QC from Jan - Aug 2025.
Job Summary
The Intern Human Resources Project Management is responsible for supporting CN's "Move to Paperless" Program. The role plays a crucial role in helping CN's shift from traditional physical document management to a fully digital system. The incumbent assists in all stages of the project, from the discovery phase with internal key stakeholders to the digitalization and archiving of various documents.
Major Responsibilities
- Participate and support the gathering of current document management practices with key internal stakeholders, which includes assessing the volume, types, and usage of documents
- Analyse the information received in the discovery phase and propose in special projects and system testing
- Help identifying potential challenges in the digitization process
- Help define requirements for a successful transition to a paperless system
- Support the digitizing, organizing, and archiving phase, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the transition to a digital archive
Requirements
- Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
- Excellent communication skills
- Planning and organization skills
- Deadline focused and results oriented
- Attention to detail, strong focus on accuracy and organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and document management software
Education
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Library Sciences, Information Management, Archiving, or related field
Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
