Position Summary
Interventional Radiology Research Fellowship at City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles
Our lab has developed several new intra-arterial therapies for liver and pancreatic cancer, which we are currently testing in a pig tumor model. We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow who can perform pig tumor embolization experiments. Projects include intra-arterial immunotherapy, lung chemoembolization, and design of new materials and devices for local drug delivery. Therapies that are safe and effective in pigs will be translated into human clinical trials.
You should have experience with basic embolization and ablation techniques. Animal research and basic laboratory experience is a plus. If you are interested in applying, please email your CV and cover letter to Ed Boas ( fboas@coh.org ).
