REGULATORY REPORTING ANALYST I CCAR

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This is an individual contributor position that will be responsible for reporting transformation efforts within the team and for the development and management of tools and reporting logic used to produce accurate regulatory reports such as the FR Y-14M and 14Q, as well as all supporting schedules. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of being an independent self-starter, ability to effectively communicate at all levels and capable of working efficiently to meet tight deadlines and adapt in a changing environment.

What you will do

  • Direct responsibility, and in partnership with Risk, Finance, and T&I, for developing CNB's FR Y-14 M and Q submission framework.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports to the RBC CCAR team including co-coordinating with business credit risk, technology and finance teams.
  • Execute on all controls and provide results/documentation to IHC CCAR team for review and consolidation. This includes data tie-outs, data profiling, edit checks reviews, period over period change explanation, etc.
  • Develop and manage gap remediation plan by partnering with risk, operations and technology.
  • Drive firm-wide automation process in collaboration with T&I.
  • Create the edit check responses based on the timeline provided by the IHC CCAR team
  • Help in preparing the deck for the review and challenge meeting with the business.
  • Manage end-to-end FR Y-14M and Q submission to IHC-CCAR

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics or a related field like Information Systems or Business Analytics
  • (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Or
  • Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics or a related field like Information Systems or Business Analytics and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related role

Skills and Knowledge

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects and workload.
  • Experience in working under pressure and performing under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proven leadership abilities and relationship building skills.
  • Experience with general ledger responsibilities and knowledge of accounting policies.
  • Working knowledge of data querying languages and analytical software, such as SQL.
  • Analytical and accounting skills to ensure the high quality and consistency of accounting and reporting processes in compliance with both US GAAP and banking statutory requirements.
  • Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team

Compensation

Starting base salary: $65,296 - $104,304 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
