The role of a Senior Director, Inventory and Distribution:
The Senior Director of Inventory and Distribution will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end inventory process management, leading the supply chain management strategy, and fostering cross-functional leadership and collaboration. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory and distribution operations to support the company's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Inventory Process Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive inventory management strategies.
- Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
- Supply Chain Management Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of the supply chain management strategy.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including Sourcing, Accounting, Finance, and Operations, to align inventory and distribution strategies with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of inventory and distribution professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate inventory and distribution performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, distribution efficiency, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in the inventory and distribution processes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with inventory management software and systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification a plus
