C.H. Robinson is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to support our Freightview team in driving the acquisition of new accounts. In this role, you'll engage daily with potential customers. Collaborating with the broader C.H. Robinson network to uncover and secure new business opportunities will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will champion Freightview's Transportation Management System (TMS), adhering to organizational sales policies and processes while working towards set objectives. Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Independently identify and generate new sales opportunities via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, and industry networking
  • Grow your C.H. Robinson network and leverage those relationships to identify new accounts
  • Contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email
  • Facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business in person
  • Collaborate internally with team on pricing strategy and account implementation plans
  • Establish credit terms with clients in coordination with company goals and directives
  • Manage individual sales funnel information regarding all prospective customers in the required format
  • Review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with Management
  • Engage in self-development & training opportunities, both internal & external

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of sale or account management experience
  • Ability to travel once per quarter

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to sell both Inside (phone and email solicitation) & Outside (face-to-face meetings, proposals, closings)
  • Strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a customer's organization including C-Level
  • Ability to collaborate internally with all levels of sales resources, team resources, and the larger network
  • Aggressive, competitive, resilient attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
