C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the OEPI (Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement) analytics team. In this role, you will transform raw operational data into actionable insights, empowering business leaders to make informed, strategic decisions. Your focus will include curating and analyzing key business signals, segmenting data to uncover drivers of success and designing experiments to optimize solutions. By supporting product analytics and scaling initiatives, you will play a key role in the company's digital transformation efforts, including automation and generative AI solutions. Additionally, you will measure how these solutions improve customer experience and service outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role is central to shaping the analytics supporting North American Surface Transportation (NAST) through exploratory research and iterative learning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Transform Data into Insights: Leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret data, identifying trends and presenting actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with business, product and engineering teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
  • Build Scalable Analytics Solutions: Develop and implement scalable data models, tools and frameworks to enhance decision-making and support long-term business goals.
  • Monitor and Improve Key Metrics: Define, track and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and guide improvements.
  • Optimize Performance Through Experimentation: Conduct testing and other experimental methodologies to assess solution impact and recommend improvements.
  • Embed AI and Automation: Contribute to integrating AI and automation into analytics processes, enabling efficiency and enriched insights.
  • Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics: Collaborate on building predictive models and prescriptive analytics to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity and reliability of data by defining and enforcing data quality and governance standards.
  • Customer and Service Impact Analysis: Analyze the impact of initiatives on customer experience and service outcomes, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' previous analytics experience developing business solutions using comprehensive, robust data assets
  • 3+ years' experience with SQL
  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar products
  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and a high school diploma/GED
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the logistics industry a plus
  • Expert proficiency creating reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Expert proficiency of a programming language such as Python and/or R
  • Experience creating web visualizations using open-source software (R Shiny/Plotly Dash)
  • Experience leveraging statistical methodologies to deliver actionable insights
  • Experience mentoring junior and/or peer analysts
