C.H. Robinson is looking for a Regional Head of Healthcare for the European Global Forwarding division. This role can be based in any EU location where C.H. Robinson has operations.

As a Regional Head of the Healthcare vertical, you will lead and execute one or more complex, high-impact business programs. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders and departments to ensure program objectives are met and timelines are maintained. Your expertise in managing enterprise and global initiatives, along with a solid understanding of industry best practices and trends, will be essential. Additionally, your strong program/project management and consulting skills will enable you to play a critical role in driving scalable, long-term solutions through process improvement and effective change management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage and grow the healthcare department
  • Manage program timeline, milestones, and communicate progress through facilitation of program-related meetings to meet deliverables in ongoing implementation
  • Partner in the creation of change plan(s) and act as a change agent while implementing programs
  • Serve as the single point of contact and be accountable for all healthcare related activities and requests
  • Proactively partner with applicable stakeholders to execute a program implementation strategy with the intent of operationalizing programs
  • Manage program budget, ensure timely program delivery, and oversee effective allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure programs are integrated across all applicable departments strategies and proactively plan for future integration as new strategies are developed
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and feedback from program participants and stakeholders to recommend solutions for continuous improvement of the program experience
  • Identify updates or enhance programs across our suite of solutions to continuously improve the right experience
  • Create and implement processes across our suite of solutions, which includes documenting the process, defining roles and responsibilities, and following up on the execution of the process
  • Identify and manage risks and issues that may arise during the course of one or more programs. Assist with the development of contingency plans and working with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Develop and implement policies and procedures, and monitor the program to maintain compliance
  • Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements to ensure all program commitments are satisfied

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and executing business-related programs or projects within the Healthcare vertical
  • Commercial experience in Global Forwarding and good understanding of operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Program management and coordination experience, preferred experience in agile methodologies; with the proven ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously
  • Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment
  • Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight
  • Strong executive presence and high level of professionalism
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to handle sensitive matters with judgment, tact, and diplomacy
  • Experience in executive level communication for program-related communication
  • Ability to analyze data to infer insights and make data driven decisions
  • Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to drive initiatives to fruition
  • Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
