Our ideal candidate can work a hybrid schedule from Eden Prairie, MN, or Chicago, IL. We are also considering candidates who are able to work hybrid from our Phoenix, AZ, Philadelphia, PA, Dallas, TX, and Atlanta, GA office locations.
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyze learning needs and requirements for complex initiatives, applying instructional design best practices.
- Design, develop, facilitate and maintain synchronous and asynchronous training solutions based on adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop training objectives and performance-based outcomes.
- Ensure accessibility of training solutions for all employees.
- Partner with SMEs to provide feedback on adult learning principles and scenario-based learning.
- Follow design standards and branding guidelines, ensuring high-quality work.
- Provide leadership and consulting on instructional design and proactive learning solutions.
- Develop strategies to address learning and skill gaps, aligning with company strategy.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and consult with HR partners to identify opportunities.
- Continuously improve curriculum based on feedback and stay current on learning industry trends.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 6 years of instructional design, development and facilitation experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office of programs
- Proficient with Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Suite
- Expert knowledge in training methodologies such as adult learning theory, the ADDIE process, Agile methodology, Bloom's Taxonomy, and the Kirkpatrick Phillip models of evaluation and measurement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Previous sales or account management experience
- Previous logistics industry experience
- Excellent collaboration, detail orientation, relationship building, and influence skills in order to achieve desired results; thrives in a team environment
- Ability to engage and consult with business groups to assess needs
- Ability to convert information into meaningful business context relevant to the learners' needs
- Excellent ability to clearly communicate complex concepts, systems, procedures, etc.
- Ability to design innovative blended learning focused on the holistic learner experience
- Demonstrated experience consulting, influencing without authority, effectively resolving conflict, and thriving in a fast-paced, decentralized, matrixed, global environment
- Excellent project management skills with strong ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
- Ability to think strategically and deliver in a pragmatic and efficient way
- Continuous improvement mindset that will help improve the employee experience and organizational effectiveness
