Ocean Import & Export Logistics Analyst

Bogota, Colombia

C.H. Robinson is seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our growing team in Bogotá and work alongside and collaborate with colleagues in the United States.

If you are fluent in English and Spanish and have experience in ocean freight forwarding with a comprehensive understanding of the shipment lifecycle, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of ocean freight shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery
  • Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Handle all necessary documentation and compliance requirements for international shipments
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of program

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in ocean and/or air freight forwarding
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle complex logistics challenges.
  • Demonstrate critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
