C.H. Robinson is hiring a Lead Talent Management Consultant. In this role, you will focus on the holistic leadership strategy, taking direct accountability for executive-level programs while partnering with the Principal Talent Management Consultant, who will oversee management-level programs. You will identify opportunities to influence and drive global talent initiatives that deliver business results. You'll be a strategic partner to the board of directors, executive leaders, senior leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and the Program Management Office (PMO).

As a key member of the Talent Management team, you will specialize in leadership strategy while working collaboratively with other consultants on ways to attract, retain, develop, and drive performance across the organization to ensure we provide a seamless employee experience. Beyond consulting, you will play a hands-on role in building, designing, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of global talent solutions. With a smaller program management team, this role requires a proactive approach-someone who can roll up their sleeves and take action. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Evolve and execute the global leadership development strategy from executive to management levels ensures consistency across the organization, including succession management, talent review, executive and high potential development programs, and executive coaching.
  • Benchmark best-in-class executive and leadership development programs to develop innovative talent management solutions
  • Create actionable recommendations and drive buy-in from senior leaders through advocacy and alignment
  • Ensure all reports, presentations, and communications are expertly crafted to meet the expectations of high-level audiences, demonstrating a deep understanding of both the content and the needs of decision-makers
  • Establish and measure program success to ensure impact and effectiveness
  • Build and influence strategic partnerships with senior leaders across functions and HRBPs
  • Inspire and consult with senior business leaders and HRBPs to proactively identify issues and talent management opportunities
  • Collaborate with other talent management areas to align solutions with C.H. Robinson's strategies and philosophies
  • Design and implement talent management solutions that align with global needs and maximize return on investment, cultivating exceptional talent that drives business results.
  • Provide global talent analysis and insights using data to drive talent processes and initiatives
  • Lead high-risk and complex initiatives, collaborating with the PMO for strategic execution

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 9 years of human resources experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Preferred:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience aligning leadership strategy with organizational goals, focusing on high-potential leaders
  • Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs
  • Proven ability to manage succession planning processes and conduct talent reviews
  • Proficiency in talent planning, performance management, and competency modeling
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity within leadership initiatives
  • Experience creating and implementing global programs and leading project teams
  • Skill in collaborating with senior executives and board members, leveraging external talent landscape best practices to enhance leadership strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex ideas to senior leadership
  • Strong strategic orientation and critical thinking with a focus on decision impact
  • Proven planning and project management skills for managing multiple projects
  • Adaptable team member thriving in fast-paced, global environments
