RESPONSIBILITITES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Get familiar with the end-to-end international shipping process, from purchase orders to cargo delivery
- Learn about and manage key documentation and terminology essential to global logistics
- Assist internal teams and third-party agents in supporting global forwarding operations to ensure smooth processes
- Support problem-solving and process adjustments by collaborating with more experienced team members to address customer needs
- Help coordinate shipment tasks, such as tracking approvals, managing pre-alerts, and preparing basic documentation like invoices
- Assist in maintaining strong customer relationships by responding to straightforward inquiries and escalating issues to senior team members as needed
- Provide support during customer business reviews by helping prepare documentation and basic reports
- Gain introductory exposure to logistics operations across different regions, learning about various challenges and solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A passion for solving complex problems and delivering top-notch service
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Preferred
- Currently pursuing education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
- Experience or coursework in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting
- A commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
