DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Gather customer expectations of carriers based on project team guidance
- Compile customer and vendor user templates as provided by the project team
- Develop standard operating procedures and training materials, and conduct formal training sessions
- Configure customer, carrier, and warehouse data accurately, as well as online and truck administrative systems
- Present training in a professional manner to customers, carriers, and vendors
- Transfer knowledge effectively to the customer account and Implementation teams
- Support the customer account team during testing and go-live for carrier or customer/vendor online support
- Document and report system defects and enhancements identified during setup and training
- Maintain documentation templates, processes, and contribute to the Implementation Team's methodology
- Manage work request tickets, assist with troubleshooting, and oversee Carrier EDI setup and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of technical project experience
Preferred:
- Prior experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) software
- Basic proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working directly with customers, carriers, or customer vendors
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting, primarily over the telephone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills
