About the Role

Product Operations Managers act as the operational back-bone that enables excellence in our product management teams. We exist to support the product organization with a greater depth of understanding of our current products, how they work, and each collaborator's responsibilities and processes within each product.

By focusing on the operational duties of product management - we accelerate our ability to innovate, strategically plan, and improve our Member experience. We are thought-partners to our product team and provide a continuous feedback loop of member experiences that we use to improve, expand, and maintain products and services for Chime members.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $96,800 and up to $131,800. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role you can expect to
  • Support the operational execution of cross-functional initiatives, such as product launches, service modifications and feature changes.
  • Serve as a domain expert in specific product and feature areas.
  • Own the quality of service and product delivery and respond to incidents related to these services.
  • Ensure operational achievements are met and maintain close communication with team members to facilitate timely deliveries.
  • Serve as the liaison for internal and external partners, leading project planning and technology integrations with a focus on building positive relationships, coordinating cross-functional team efforts, and aligning partner priorities with our strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain a robust feedback loop for our products and features, analyzing member experience data and performance indicators to advise product strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize impactful opportunities and support product managers in strategy formulation.
  • Employ a data-driven approach to decision making, supporting the team with quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Act as a thought partner in experiment design and testing.

To thrive in this role, you have
  • A passion for delivering the best member experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in payments, FinTech, or consulting.
  • Program and / or partnership management experience with a track record for coordinating efforts across multiple team members and delivering results.
  • Ability to influence and champion deep positive relationships with external partners and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Experience using data and analytical findings to guide and make business decisions.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
  • The ability to find creative, practical solutions to problems.
  • A bias toward action and thinking outside the conventional approach.
  • Eagerness to investigate the details.
