The Staff Technology team enables the Chick-fil-A digital enterprise by partnering on purpose to empower business transformation. From technology consulting and design to implementation and maintenance, the team is responsive to stakeholder business requirements while bringing a forward-looking, systems mindset and approach to the work. Key audience segments within the purview of this sub-team include Chick-fil-A, Inc Staff members and select vendor partners. Key functional partnerships include Campus Planning & Operations and Organizational Effectiveness.

The Sr. Principal Team Leader of Digital Workplace leads a team responsible for Chick-fil-A's overall strategy, design, and implementation of our Digital Workplace for staff. The team serves as technology partner to Campus Planning and Operations and Organizational Effectiveness creating multi-year technology roadmaps, partnering on system selections, and leading implementations. The work of this team has broad impact on all staff.

This role is responsible for the strategic oversight and implementation of Microsoft's comprehensive suite of products for enterprises as well as all collaboration platforms, productivity applications, AV technology and other custom built or SaaS tools. This work is essential for a modern and efficient work environment, bringing the digital and physical worlds together. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, experience in digital workplace technologies, and a passion for creating seamless and empowering user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, assess, and mentor a team of team leaders, business analysts and systems analysts with in-depth knowledge about their specific domains
  • Lead a portfolio of technical initiatives and/or programs with impact to all of staff
  • Serves as a trusted technology advisor to Campus Planning and Operations and Organizational Effectiveness
  • Drive strategy for Microsoft's full suite of products for enterprises across all audiences
  • Develop and drive strategy for productivity, collaboration, and project management tools including overall governance process
  • Partner with Staff Digital Experience role to ensure overall coordination with broader Staff Digital Experience strategy
  • Assign work and provide guidance on prioritization to the team to ensure delivery of business outcomes
  • Partner with business areas to develop, maintain and execute on 3-year technology roadmaps
  • Partner with the business and other areas of DTT to enable new capabilities (i.e. GenAI)
  • Execute on departmental plans and adapt depending upon resources or challenges
  • Manage the team's budget
  • Implement and execute technology strategies within the Campus Planning and Operations and Organizational Effectiveness as well as enable the productivity and collaboration of all staff
  • Identify opportunities to align work in multiple areas to maximize value to Chick-fil-A
  • Lead vendor selection process for new SaaS products and oversees team on technical implementation
  • Lead legal contracting for new and existing vendors
  • Select vendors and manage relationships for productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft, Atlassian, Miro, etc.)
    Select and oversee external resources allocated to the team to meet business demands and goals
