Overview

Each Audience Learning team is responsible for the vision, strategy, prioritization and creation of the suite of learning products that encompass an audiences' learning ecosystem. They are responsible for the development of a comprehensive learner strategy that reflects the audience's unique needs and ensures strong collaboration with business partners and subject matter experts.

The Sr. Learning Experience Lead is the chief point of contact for learning experience execution before, during, and after the learning experience offering for a specific audience. The Sr. Learning Experience Lead provides connectivity across the entire learning experience and works closely with members of the Audience Team to ensure learning objectives are met for each offering, that the strategic vision comes to life, and that the learning experience is seamless. Additionally, the Sr. Learning Experience Lead is a part of the team to ensure there is a continual feedback loop to keep curriculum relevant, up-to-date and audience focused.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Point of Contact for learners to ensure program execution is completed on time and within scope
  • Work collaboratively with "program execution team" to ensure responsibilities related to program execution before, during, and after are delivered seamlessly and as designed while also seeking to continuously improve the learning experience
  • Adapt, in the moment, to unforeseen circumstances, i.e. including but not limited to issues with physical space set-up, technology, learner needs, facilitator/presenter changes, etc.
  • Conduct/lead After Action Reviews (AARs) and share themes and feedback with audience team to foster continuous improvement
  • Offers feedback to program execution team to include but not limited to L&D facilitators, Subject Matter Experts and Logistics support
  • In partnership with the Audience Lead Learning Strategist, develop, execute, and update communication strategy as needed to ensure consistency across Learning Experience Leads
  • Communicate to participants and certain key partners, pre and post (as needed)
  • Host and facilitate content (as needed).
  • Represent and embody the brand to participants
  • Help "connect the dots" with those who impact the learning curriculum; making sure content and
    stakeholders are aligned
  • Track and report current year budget to help inform the longer term budget planning for the team.
  • Manage invoices related to the execution of the learning experience, as appropriate
  • Project manage all facets of the program (logistics, budget, registration, communication, participant roster, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other Learning Experience Leads to determine program calendar based on frequency of offerings
  • Ensure administration and champion completion of learning experience surveys
  • Recommend experience changes to audience team and consult with audience team to enact changes


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which
    comparable skills can be acquired
  • 4 or more years' experience in training industry
  • Steward learners through learning experiences from beginning to end
  • Ability to build and foster healthy relationships with program execution team, participants and key partners
  • Program hosting and facilitation skills
  • Execution focus - detail orientation
  • Point of contact for in-experience logistics
  • Exhibit deep understanding of specific learner audience and exhibit empathy
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to make quick and integrative decisions considering different business factors, the culture and long-term implications; ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to own all program deliverables
  • Ability to provide targeted feedback
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the CFA Brand and ability to represent the brand
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
  • Financial tracking and reporting
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with and demonstrated knowledge of modern adult learning practices
  • Proven track record of program management
