Overview

As Customer demands for convenience have grown, so have Chick-fil-A's investments in digital ordering. A significant portion of Chick-fil-A's sales are driven by on-demand delivery via Chick-fil-A Delivery and third-party delivery partnerships. Chick-fil-A partners nationally with select Third Party Partners to provide Customers with the ability to order food on-demand for delivery.

As Chick-fil-A looks to maximize ownership & differentiate in the delivery marketplace, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead Chick-fil-A's relationship with one of our third-party delivery partners. The individual best suited for this role is passionate about building partnerships, managing business lines, and crafting strategy for a rapidly scaling area of the business. This individual should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and determining paths forward in an evolving marketplace.

This individual will work closely with partners across the business and within our Restaurants, helping to maximize the relationship with our third-party delivery partner to create value for Chick-fil-A Restaurant Operators, Chick-fil-A, Inc., and our partner.

This role is part of the Delivery team, and reports to the Marketing department.

Responsibilities

  • Senior Partnership-facing role as the primary business relationship owner of one of Chick-fil-A's third-party delivery partners.
  • Facilitates partnership agreements; is the first point of contact for contract management for both domestic and select international agreements on behalf of Chick-fil-A
  • Facilitates strategic partner reviews with corporate leadership from both firms
  • Manages outcomes with in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills, and an awareness of the organization's priorities to translate strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities
  • Likely expected to quickly make decisions or provide thoughtful input with little lead time; influences roadmaps across platforms, and related functionalities/tools
  • Responsible for navigating the intricate legal, tax, treasury, technology, and accounting system requirements necessary to execute program at scale
  • P&L fluency: ability to make decisions informed by an understanding of financial implications


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
  • 6+ years of professional work experience
  • Vendor or partner management experience
  • Contract negotiation and strategy experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience with the on-demand delivery marketplace
  • Experience with digital product management and/or digital user experience
  • Experience working with Quick Service Restaurants and/or franchised businesses
