Chewy is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager, Transportation to join our team in Plantation FL. You will be responsible for driving critical initiatives within our inbound transportation operations. This is a hand on role that focuses on creating, designing, and implementing programs that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of inbound flows from vendors to fulfillment centers (FCs). You will get the opportunity to create and lead a programmatic roadmap through clear business requirements partnering closely with transportation operations, network operations, systems and tech, planning, FC operations, finance, S&OP, and inventory planning. A candidate for this position must bring a collaborative attitude to the table, and experience working in a fast-paced environment using data to drive decision making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills with the ability to create their own business analytics with success driving action from business insights.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own programmatic pivotal initiatives optimizing inbound flows from vendor orders to FC docks by creating business requirement documents, creating metrics, and acting collaborative across a matrixed organization with cross functional teams
  • Drive inbound transportation financial budget planning processes, inputs, bridging, and cost savings opportunities
  • Develop and maintain inbound connectivity roadmap between transportation operations, S&OP, FCs, and Inventory teams to motivate change that align with business objectives
  • Use data to perform analysis and transform those insights into clear requirements to drive transportation operations/programs enhancements, new features, and new tools
  • Develop and maintain metrics to monitor performance of transportation initiatives and measure impact of enhancements/features
  • Use data to understand business objectives and identify defects; transform those insights into clear actions to drive transformational change across the operation.
  • Create dashboards and reporting that drive inbound flow and connectivity pivotal initiatives across the organization

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years functional experience in performing analysis, creating business requirements documents, and inspiring change management roadmaps across a matrix organization
  • 3+ years of program and/or project management experience 
  • Strong analytical skills including SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data, create dashboards, and derive insights from large data sets.
  • Experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably in transportation, supply chain and/or operations 
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • BS or Master's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, or equivalent
  • Position may require travel

Bonus (if applicable):

  • Transportation engineering experience
  • Experience with methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma
