Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Pharmacy Engineering team in Boston, MA. You will lead the delivery of high impact projects that span multiple Chewy teams. You will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of new Pharmacy product offerings and creating a seamless connection to Chewy's services and products for the pharmacy operations, B2C and B2B. In this role, you will partner closely with pharmacy operations, product and engineering to coordinate and deliver sophisticated projects managing dependencies and presenting status, risks and mitigations. You will work with our developers to ensure clarity in requirements and be responsible for the implementation strategy from conception to delivery. You will collaborate across multiple Chewy business and product teams as we build a connected experience!

What You'll Do:

  • Lead programs cross-functionally with teams of pharmacy operations, product managers, and engineers to deliver products and features with strong pharmacy operations cost savings and B2C/B2B customer value
  • Establish mechanisms to improve teamwork across teams and maintain a high-quality bar for engineering implementation
  • Review and report on progress, handle project risks, and implement contingency plans to keep projects on track
  • Coordinate with business partners to ensure the team is continuously delivering for the growing needs of the business 

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience
  • Technical savvy - including hands-on knowledge of system integration, databases, and business intelligence
  • Agile experience (eg. Scrum Master, Product Owner) and ability to run sprints, stand-ups, and handle backlog
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to perform business requirements analysis and technical design
  • Capability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
  • Position may require travel

Desired Skills:

  • Prior software development experience
  • Experience building and operating critical systems
  • Strong analytical skills including SQL
