Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Virtual Healthcare Services to be part of our team as we make pet healthcare more affordable and accessible to all US households. We are on an exciting journey to build out a comprehensive set of virtual care solutions that deeply engage and interconnect our veterinary team and pet parents, making it easier for pets of all shapes and sizes to lead healthy, happy lives.

As a product leader, you’ll develop and own the vision and roadmap for new capabilities/expansion opportunities while ensuring we continue to raise the bar on our existing offerings. As a tireless advocate for our customer, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Clinical/Medical, UXD/UXR, Technology, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to define, build, and launch new features and services, focusing on accelerating time to market and adapting based on learnings.  Keys to success in this role include a laser focus on the customer and their needs, strong business acumen, exceptional ownership, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver simple solutions that improve both customer and business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Use your customer-first mindset to guide the development and delivery of best-in-class customer experiences for Pet Parents and our Veterinary Professionals
  • Synthesize customer, business, market, and technical data to find opportunities, size them, and turn insights into potential features
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for your product/feature suite ensuring product vision continually aligns with both customer and business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product discovery and delivery, continuously refining approach as needed as new information and inputs are identified
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements
  • Build financial models to estimate the impact of proposed features
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work optimally across cross-functional teams
  • Provide concisely written artefacts that effectively communicate appropriate level of detail based on the audience.
  • Define and analyze measures of success (KPIs) for the initiatives you deliver. Use the data to deliver knowledge and insight to the wider team.
  • Apply mechanisms to track progress and deliverables related to product/feature suite you own across all tech and non-tech tracks
  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks to project deliverables and timelines

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in digital product management or related field
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent professional or military experience
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, deliver and scale products or services that deliver measurable customer & business benefit
  • Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including development of overall project plan, identifying and mitigating risks, managing multiple competing priorities, high attention to detail and situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations and make trade-offs at all levels of management
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated strengths around ownership, urgency and drive, and a collaborative work style
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Ability to develop, present and gain buy-in on a compelling vision and roadmap from a wide range of stakeholders, from developers to senior executives
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative market research tools to gather customer insights and feedback
  • Position requires periodic travel (~10%)

Bonus:

  • Experience launching new technology products/services in virtual care/telemedicine, medical practices, or other services businesses
  • MBA or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the overall pet healthcare industry and recent trends
  • Experience with A / B testing methodologies and tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar platforms
  • In depth experience and understanding of the veterinary profession in the US; DVM degree or other veterinary certification is a plus
  • MBA or equivalent

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range
$134,500$215,000 USD
