Our Opportunity:

We at Chewy are looking for a highly motivated, and analytical Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing Healthcare Finance team! In this role, you’ll blend financial knowledge with practical experience in analyzing financial statements and data-driven decision-making to support strategic initiatives, drive Chewy Healthcare’s growth, and meet financial objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Aid in developing reporting systems and performance management frameworks while defining key metrics and performance indicators to assess overall business success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Healthcare Merchandising, Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Accounting—to gain a complete understanding of the business, its customers, and operations.
  • Effectively engage in target setting and the annual/quarterly planning processes.
  • Own the monthly close process to ensure that all financial records are maintained accurately according to Chewy’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Need:

  • A BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Economics.
  • 0-1 year of relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL coding, Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, or Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • The ability to think creatively, work both independently and collaboratively, tackle problems with limited resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility in adapting to ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
