Director of Tax, Planning & Compliance

Plantation, FL

At Chewy, we strive to become the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents and our partners – vets and service providers – alike. Our success is measured by the happiness of the people and pets we serve, not simply by the amount of pet supplies we deliver. That’s why we continue to think of outside-the-Chewy-box ways to delight, surprise, and thank our loyal pet lovers!

Chewy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Tax, Planning & Compliance to join our team in Bellevue, WA. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Tax, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations, and minimizing tax liabilities. A key focus will be optimizing legal entity structures and intercompany arrangements to support our rapidly growing business. This leadership position requires staying ahead of changes in tax legislation, advising on the tax implications of key business decisions, and fostering strong partnerships with external tax advisors and authorities. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership to help drive Chewy’s continued success.
