- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions and process improvements
- Work closely with the Supply Chain teams in areas including forecasting analytics and design, inventory placement, customer experience and replenishment management continuously optimizing for improved customer experience and in-stock positions
- Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints
- Collaborate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and various technological platforms
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets
What You’ll Need:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Intermediate Knowledge in Python and advanced data visualization tools such as Plotly/Dash/React/D3Js etc.
- 7+ years of experience building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables. Familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake DWH’s and S3 or similar data lakes preferred
- 5+ years’ experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight or similar (familiarity with Tableau preferred).
- 3+ years of experience with data modeling in large Data warehousing, data lake environment
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
- Be hard-working, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or ‘dirty’ data.
- Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
- Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bonus:
- Experience with AI/ML , specially using LLM/Agents/Bots in Data Engineering/Visualization/Analysis
- Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting
- Experience building on AWS Platform services
- Experience with statistical models and building predictive models from scratch
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a BI Engineer III position is $134,500.00 - $215,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.
