Our Opportunity:
We are seeking an entry level Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Customer Care data analytics department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our data-driven decision-making. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with SQL, Python, and modern visualization tools, and who wants to grow their skills in streaming data, automation, and cloud-based analytics. You'll work in a fast-moving, data-driven environment where you’ll help build scalable insights solutions, optimize reporting, and contribute to our mission of making data-driven decisions easier and more accessible for everyone.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and optimize queries to extract and analyze data from large-scale databases.
- Work with real-time and batch data processing to support operational reporting and alerting.
- Build dynamic dashboards and self-service analytics solutions using modern visualization tools (Tableau, Streamlit, Plotly, etc.).
- Automate data collection and reporting workflows, reducing manual effort for the business.
- Assist in designing data pipelines for customer care analytics, ensuring data is structured for ease of use and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, product, and customer experience) to identify and solve business problems using data.
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and quality checks to ensure clean, reliable data for stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on emerging trends in BI, data engineering, and cloud computing to improve our analytics stack.
- Interest in empowering teams with self-service dashboards and analytics tools.
- Ability to automate manual reporting tasks to drive efficiency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—able to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Support senior analysts in conducting data analysis projects.
- Learn and apply data analysis techniques and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop data analysis skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit, Plotly).
- Knowledge of retail and e-commerce.
- Experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling is a bonus.
