Delivers solutions that range from information retrieval to large-scale system design including network, distributed computing, and UI
Actively participates in an integrated DevOps Team utilizing Agile methodologies with strong change management focus.
Performs coding, unit testing and/or system configuration changes to resolve defects and/or develop new enhancements, utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
Interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques. Puts learning into action by modernizing applications through re-platforming, re-architecting, re-engineering, and automation.
Provides daily operational support for several applications by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions, identifying and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance.
Proactive communication and quick response to project work and production issues. Strong customer focus.
Develops domain knowledge by understanding business processes.
Monitors interfaces/data loads, administer security, and provide feedback/solutions on application performance.
Identifies areas for improvement through understanding of technical and business requirements. Partner with Application Engineers/team members to address tactical and strategic issues.
Supports and/or drives technical upgrade projects and change initiatives.
Develops and maintains technical support documentation.
Maintains IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate.
Selection Criteria:
Proficiency and hands-on experience in two or more of the following: C#, C++, Angular, Node.js, SQL, Ansible, R, Java, Python, Azure, APIs, Web services(WCF and/or RESTful services), Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX), among others
Knowledge of modern solution design methods (MVC, MVVM, SPA, etc.)
Knowledge of Oracle / SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI
Must be a self-starter, can adapt to the use of new technology, able to multi-task, and able to work independently.
Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, online diagnoses, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues.
Has a keen eye for good architecture and the ability to develop new architecture and frameworks
Must have a disciplined, methodical, minimalist approach to designing and constructing layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or applications
Leadership
Be comfortable driving discussions clearly with a wide range of partners and levels of the organization
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work activities across multiple teams and be successful at meeting deadlines and keeping projects on time, driving towards a common goal and alignment with key strategies
Manage tasks that span support groups, end users and vendors resources. Works well with global teams and across time zones

Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to independently troubleshoot issues and deliver on results.
Proven aptitude in translating business requirements to quality technical solutions.
