We are looking for an Infrastructure analyst who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support refinery operations. 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • In this role you will partner with other IT and functional disciplines within the refinery and across platforms to deliver and support reliable critical technology including field radio, audio visual, communications and storage & compute solutions that enable key business capabilities. While focused on on-premise infrastructure, a good understanding of cloud capabilities and software development concepts is also important.
  • You will provide technical support to local operations personnel in the ongoing maintenance and administration of systems including cybersecurity, information and risk compliance, software license management, and software patch management.  
  • Use your knowledge of process control and operational technology environments to provide your IT Infrastructure skills in the areas of network security and design,Windows server and workstation configuration, systems monitoring, and troubleshooting, along with applying server and workstation patches.
  • Collaborate with IT and function disciplines within the refinery and across platform teams, as well as with vendors, to deliver and support reliable critical technology including field radio, audio visual, communications and storage & compute solutions that enable key business capabilities.
  • Support new project deployments, as well as the planning and execution of life-cycling existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide support for the plant’s Motorola radio system, and for various business and PCN applications.
  • Provide for the identification, analysis, and resolution of infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Interact with internal clients, provide support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of working experience in related roles.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructure in PCN / DMZ network environments; good understanding of the Purdue Model.
  • Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019 servers, along with Windows client devices
  • Experience providing design, testing and implementation support for and participation in internally driven platform deployment or lifecycle projects, as well as customer-facing projects
  • Experience with virtualization environments consisting of VMware ESXi and vCenter v5 or above, running on Cisco Hyperflex platform, Dell FX2, or other hyper-converged platforms
  • Working knowledge of one or more RF infrastructure and standards supporting PCN/OT data transport: MW, WiFi, iMAX, cellular, UHF/VHF radios, WiHart, DAS, M2M, LoRaWAN
  • Experience working in OE&HES focused operations environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to document the systems infrastructure.
  • Skills and demonstrated experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate system maintenance and monitoring.
  • Skills and demonstrated experience administering Active Directory, Network Services (IP, DHCP, DNS and WINS), group policy object (GPO) management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher, in technology or a related business discipline
