Responsible for finding and securing infrastructure that meets the strategic fit set up by PSAT and VCO. The candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, evaluating alternatives, developing negotiation strategies, and negotiating agreements within the markets that Chevron operates.
The position requires basic knowledge of infrastructure within the US for products and extensive negotiation experience. The candidate must be able to apply this knowledge when reviewing requests from internal stakeholders to find the best opportunity for Chevron with respect to cost, quality, and on-time completion.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Assist internal customers with queries and problems with infrastructure commercial and strategic matters.
Understand standard terms and conditions in service agreements and how they protect the company from risks and liabilities
Negotiate terms and conditions and strategic pricing for services
Provide customer recommendations for infrastructure based on market analysis
Assist internal customers with meeting objectives of cost, quality and schedule while maintaining positive working relationships with external stakeholders
Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations
Ensure timely processing and execution of agreements
Work closely with internal customers and SMEs to ensure policies, procedures and compliance requirements are met on all contractual obligations
Ensure executed contracts and all relevant compliance and correspondence are uploaded and maintained in the contract database
Required Qualifications:
BS in Business Administration or related fields
Minimum 3 years of negotiation experience
Must be articulate, work well under pressure and consistently be able to meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal communication skills for dealing with internal customers and external service providers.
Ability to read and comprehend business contracts through work or educational experience.
Well-balanced interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communications skills are required.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
Must be a problem solver with the ability to find resolutions.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities, and handle work interruptions.
Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
Must be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment and consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
Understanding of product pipelines and terminals, both infrastructure and operations

Relocation may be considered.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
