About the team/role
Checkr Trust is building safer communities by providing our customers with risk signals about its users. Every year, our team provides insights on tens of millions of users across multiple verticals: online dating, caregiving, car rental, short-term rentals, and many more. We are part of Horizon 3Y, the Checkr start-up lab: we operate with the speed of a small startup while enjoying the leverage and resources of a well-known technology brand. 

We are looking for a Senior Demand Generation Manager to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our startup. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President and GM of Checkr Trust.

What you’ll do

  • Strategy: Develop integrated campaign and target account strategies across growth channels in collaboration with sales team
  • Execution: Own the execution and optimization of ICP campaigns across web, email, advertising, webinars, direct mail, outbound, and direct mail channels in partnership with Product Marketing
  • Website: Drive optimization via experimentation on landing pages in close collaboration with design and product marketing
  • Creative: Partner with design and product marketing to test and optimize creative concepts for promotion across campaign channels
  • Manage: Own the paid media budget, determining optimal spend allocations across channels based on goals
  • Analytics: Measure and analyze datasets to understand paid marketing funnel, campaign effectiveness, and ROI, and identify opportunities for improvement, and 
  • Stakeholders: Collaborate and partner with Sales to own and optimize lead hand-off process, Product Marketing to plan and execute campaigns, 

What you bring

  • Deep expertise in digital / performance marketing across search, social, affiliate, and display channels (6+ years preferred). Hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns at scale is a must-have. Experience managing agencies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset. Experience analyzing campaign datasets, website metrics, and internal conversion data with a proven ability to translate data insights into action
  • Proficient with basic analytical tools (Google Sheets/Excel, Looker, Google Analytics)
  • Ability to drive projects forward across multiple teams and manage multiple campaigns at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM tools, Salesforce, and creative tools like Canva or Figma are a plus
  • Have founded or held early roles at fast-paced startups is a plus

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $147,451 to $173,472 in San Francisco, CA.
