About the team/role

As a Mid Market Account Executive, you will drive U.S.- based new business in the mid-market segment through your outbound prospecting, sales cycle , forecast  accuracy, negotiating , and closing abilities. You will be part of a high performing, professional and rapidly growing team that succeeds through collaboration, tenacity, and constant improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a primary point of contact and the face of Checkr for our Mid Market champions and economic buyers within your book of business..
  • Full ownership of your book of business, documenting the buying criteria, buying process, next steps, key stakeholders, and projected bookings consistently and accurately
  • Contribute to team root cause analyses on wins/losses: 
    • Expected to communicate lessons learned to peers and cross functional teams proactively
    • Strategically alignment with BDR to execute end to end outbound selling motion.
  • Adhere to and help improve Mid Market sales process
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
  • Be the voice of the customer, contributing product and process improvements 
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals 

What you bring

  • 4-6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience  
  • Demonstrable consistent track record of above target performance
  • You exceed expectations and hold yourself accountable to a higher standard of excellence
  • You lead from the front
  • You have a consistent, predictable and repeatable sales process You learn quickly and are excited to take on challenging new projects
  • You are smart, self-motivated, organized, detail and process oriented
  • You enjoy planning, executing, winning, and celebrating as a team
  • You are a clear and direct communicator

Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. In-office perks are provided, such as lunch four times a week, a commuter stipend, and an abundance of snacks and beverages.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The on-target earnings range for this role is  $165,589 to $224,032 in Denver, CO.
