Global payments are intricate and dynamic, whether it's a feature based on commercial request or driven by schemes, the Payment Specialist will be responsible for gathering the required information and present it to the product team with a clear description of the implementation and interpretation of the processing rules and their recommendations. Global expansion being a key objective of CKO, and Cards Processing being at the core of it, the Payment Specialist will be responsible for leading the technical projects with the schemes to rollout new acquiring regions and ultimately new payment options for our merchants.
We are also looking for Payment Specialists who can bring in fresh ideas and proactively engage with schemes and partners to bring innovative payment solutions while maintaining the existing high processing standards of CKO which requires them to work closely with cross-functional teams (legal, compliance, financial partnership and product).
Payment Specialists will also be responsible for disseminating payments knowledge throughout the organization making sure that merchant facing teams have the required information to be able to answer merchant queries. This will also require them to support internal payments operations teams in maintaining any processing back office operations such as scheme registration, clearing and settlement.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
5+ years of hands-on Business Analyst or other relevant roles' experience in financial services and/or in payments processing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with motivation to find end-to-end solutions.
Ability to work cross-functionally and with remote teams.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and sometimes shifting priorities.
Willingness to take new initiative and continuously learn.
Experience with SQL script and BI tools is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business/Computer Science or equivalent.
Fluency in English, and superb communication skills at all levels.
Knowledge of Card Schemes and Payments Processing is a must.
