Your opportunity
The Trading and Transfer of Assets (TOA) Operations Team supports the daily trading and transfer activity of Charles Schwab Trust Bank's (CSTB) institutional retirement clients. The team engages in various forms of trading including mutual funds, equities, ETFs, alternative investments, and non-registered securities. The team is also responsible for participant level rollovers between various retirement products, in addition to mass broker-to-broker transfers in-kind. The team enters and reconciles these trading and transfer transactions through a trust system for centralized reporting.
As an entry level position on the team, the Trading Operations Associate will be tasked with learning various processes within the team and support the day-to-day transfer of assets and trustee reporting functions. Successful candidate works closely with internal and business to business partners to complete daily processes.

What you are good at:
- Focused candidate with the ability to quickly learn and implement daily process for internal and external rollovers, including communication with cross-functional teams at the Trustee and Broker/Dealer.
- Passionate about learning and enhancing process and functions in an industry leading financial services company.
- Interested in growth and development in a growing enterprise.

What you have:
- Previous trading/operations experience in the retirement industry is preferred but not required.
- Communication skills that include communicating to external clients, management, and business partners.
- Analytical skills that include the ability to research and resolve issues to completion.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
