The Central Business Team (CBT) organization delivers innovative solutions to support and empower Schwab technology leaders and their teams to make informed decisions, operate efficiently, and achieve strategic business goals. The STS Workforce Management team is a part of CBT and strives to create consistency and scale efficiencies that enable tech leadership to run their businesses' faster, more efficiently, and with better insights - while ensuring that our teams are equipped with the right tools and resources. The STS Workforce Management team is looking for a Sr. Specialist - IT Program Management - to support Resource Planning and Workforce Management initiatives across the technology organization.

As a Sr. Specialist in CBT, you will facilitate and optimize workforce processes that helps our technology organization run more efficiently. You will develop insightful reporting to aid leaders in making informed workforce decisions. You will help implement company-wide initiatives within the technology organization.

What you have

Required qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA degree required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial management of projects/programs
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership and driving to decisions
  • Familiar with agile & scrum methodology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management, must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of technical program management experience
  • Workforce planning experience, particularly in managing headcount across a large enterprise
  • Proficient with technology, tools and processes that support resource planning
  • Self-motivated, as well as, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
  • Experience in space planning for a large enterprise with the ability to manage challenging issues in a professional and productive manner
  • Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment
  • Proficient in collaboration tools like SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, etc
  • Experience using Alteryx and Tableau for data visualizations
  • PMP certification
