Duties: Transform design ideas and requirements into functioning code by applying established standards and best practices. Work on modernizing legacy processes and methodologies to open source distributed technologies/frameworks to execute on cloud and IaaS platforms. Design solutions to complex business problems using SOLID principles and enterprise best practices and policies. Design and Implement Cloud Services (REST/JSON) adopting OpenAPI standards and established best practices. Collaborate with BSAs, Architect/Leads, and development team in implementing solutions. Design and implement highly scalable and efficient event-based systems that facilitate real-time cost basis data refreshes. Analyze and implement integrations that facilitate the migration of data through APIs and batch to the new cost basis engine. Implement APIs that strictly adhere with firmwide security policies thus enabling data transfers to be more secured. Implement Unit and Integration test suite, as well as support test automation to deliver reliable bug free code.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $174,250 to $210,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's related experience.

Experience must include 72 months in each of the following skills: Java/J2EE technologies, Spring tools (Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Spring WebFlux), REST and SOAP service; Cloud technologies such as PCF, AWS, and GCP; TDD & BDD, including test automation frameworks like Cucumber; DB2, MongoDb, Oracle and SQL Server databases; Messaging technologies including IBM MQ, MQ Appliance, and Rabbit MQ; CI/CD frameworks including Gradle, Maven, Github and Bamboo; and Security and code quality tools Veracode, Code QL, Black Duck, and SonarQube.
