Your opportunity

The Workforce Optimization Program Management Team is responsible for supporting the strategy, implementation and execution of the Workforce Optimization Organization initiatives, projects and programs that are related to enhancing current business processes, integration strategy, and client service transformation initiatives impacting Investor Services.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will-

  • Lead assigned projects from project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results.
  • Ensure that a successful business outcome is the prime measure of project success, including delivering projects on time and within quality standards to the satisfaction of the project sponsor.
  • Drive to mitigate execution risk to achieve the desired business outcomes. Understand the business/group and facilitate communication with other program/project managers and stakeholders efficiently and effectively.
  • Direct, manage, and coordinate team members including other project managers, business resources, and user groups.

What you are good at:

  • Project management of large, cross-functional and complex initiatives
  • Stakeholder management, including a wide range of internal clients and partners
  • Create, monitor, and track project plans, roadmaps, and executive summaries for your projects focusing on identifying cross-functional dependencies
  • Follow-up on deliverables and action items to ensure they are completed on time and with quality
  • Engage in business process activities focusing on efficiency and scalability
  • Assist in the definition and coaching of PMO processes
  • Proactive, concise, and constant communication regarding project status, issues, risks
  • Communication and coordination with all levels of management
  • Prioritization of enhancements and projects

Day-to-day activities involve

  • Driving cross-functional work streams to maximize outcomes and minimize risk; handling work plans using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint; facilitating meetings, ensuring actions are completed in a timely basis
  • Using strategic frameworks and program/project management techniques to help guide people through uncertainty; lead multiple and potentially conflicting priorities; identifying and handling sophisticated dependencies
  • Proactively identifying business opportunities and providing solutions to enhance process efficiency within field organizations
  • Managing a robust portfolio of projects that range in complexity, driving success, prioritization, and efficiency in the balance.

  • Excellent communicator - exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, including ability to develop accurate, visually-compelling PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Detail Oriented- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment but remain appropriately detail-oriented
  • Self-starter - proactive entrepreneurial spirit, curious with a can-do demeanor and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a sophisticated, dynamic environment.
  • Deliver results - successfully execute on multiple initiatives at the same time with vitality and phenomenal attention to detail.
  • Professional and high level of Emotional Intelligence- ability to prioritize optimally in a fast-moving environment, possess a positive outlook, passion, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, Confluence/Jira and Adobe PDF required.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry required; Series 7 license preferred.
  • Working understanding of change and project management principles. Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years' work experience leading complex projects and programs through the full life cycle .
  • Bachelor's degree required.
