Schwab's Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) organization offers industry-leading wealth management experiences, through solutions like Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) and Schwab Advisor Network (SAN), along with a broad range of investment products and solutions, to both retail and registered investment advisor (RIA) clients.
Within WAS, the Senior Manager, Product Management (Business) will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team. The Strategic Initiatives team plays a critical role in advocating for the voice of the field and our clients while driving forward financial planning initiatives focused on wealth management topics (e.g., tax planning, estate planning, and retirement income). This role requires financial planning content knowledge along with a strong understanding of product development or experience working with digital platforms to enhance our expertise, delivery, and services for both mass affluent and high net worth clients.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager (individual contributor) you will:
- Execute on Strategic Initiatives: Translate the overall product vision and strategy into actionable plans and initiatives within your assigned area.
- Conduct In-Depth Analysis and Develop Recommendations: Perform detailed analysis, synthesize findings, identify gaps, and develop data-driven recommendations to improve existing offerings and support strategic decisions. Focus on interpreting complex data sets to uncover trends and insights that inform specific product enhancements.
- Lead Cross-Functional Project Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams to execute projects, bringing established strategies to life and delivering measurable results. Manage project timelines, resources, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Communicate and Influence Stakeholders: Communicate project updates and findings to stakeholders, influencing decisions within project scope. Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports that effectively convey complex information.
- Manage Offer Initiatives from Execution to Completion: Oversee the execution of offer initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time. Track key metrics and report on progress to stakeholders.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product management, product development, offer management, offer development, or product owner experience and/or financial planning experience
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information effectively to various audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Highly resourceful, adaptable, and creative problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; a proven team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in financial services and/or wealth management
