The Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) Offer Management team is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and evolving this premier wealth management program. Our mandate is to drive the implementation of initiatives and critical workstreams in integration projects to support the evolution of the SWA offer. To do this, we work with partners and delivery organizations to ensure key processes / interactions are designed and executed smoothly. We also manage tradeoff decisions and priorities to enhance the SWA offer experience and drive revenue growth.

The Sr. Manager is an individual contributor who reports to the Director responsible for implementing key initiatives to enhance SWA. The Senior Manager will lead or support multiple initiatives at varying stages of the project life cycle, including shaping the strategic vision and obtaining approvals for new initiatives, managing in-flight projects, including partnering with different workgroups to develop and deploy the finished product to the field. The work occurs in partnership with cross-functional teams from SWAI and various Retail functions, including technology, operations, field enablement, training, marketing, and various oversight organizations, including legal, compliance, and risk management.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple projects intended to enhance the appeal, value, and efficiency of SWA. Currently, the team is focused on projects related to billing and pricing support and multiple product integrations. The role will evolve as priorities are refined over time.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Keeping a keen eye on ways to improve the offer, including supporting client and rep experiences in all efforts.
  • Being able to contribute to projects from both strategic and tactical perspectives.
  • Working with and/or leading cross-functional teams to manage all or components of deliverables on multiple projects, ensuring that team members are both aligned with the vision and working efficiently to deliver the intended experiences for reps and clients.
  • Working through challenges to projects by partnering well with colleagues and identifying alternate ways to accomplish the project's objectives.
  • Documenting all aspects of the project, including preparing leadership updates, project management documents, process flows, meeting minutes, etc., to help project teams run efficiently.
  • Displaying flexibility and the ability to adapt as new information is uncovered and projects adjust accordingly.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to make recommendations.
  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management; ability to create plans and lead teams of business partners to execute on large, complex projects
  • Knowledge and experience with wealth and investment management - including delivery of customized portfolio advice (discretionary and non-discretionary) and planning/wealth management expertise to clients.
  • Expert user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFP or MBA preferred
  • Series 7 preferred
  • Excellent communicator - exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Strong relationship management and mediation skills - ability to weigh stakeholder perspectives, gain consensus and influence partners
  • Flexibility - comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to change, can work in both a strategic and executional capacity
  • Deliver results - successfully execute on multiple initiatives at the same time, autonomously, quickly, despite challenges, and with great attention to detail
  • Self-starter - proactive entrepreneurial spirit, curious with a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
