We are seeking a Senior Product Manager (individual contributor), Digital Rep Solutions to lead the development and enhancement of our artificial intelligence capabilities.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data science, cloud, data engineering, and front-end development.

The Senior Product Manager will identify opportunities, define problem statements, document business processes, size benefits, prioritize work, drive user adoption, and measure the value of product features and capabilities.

The Senior Product Manager will drive significant strategy, planning and trade-off decisions including multiple competing demands from disparate business units, across the enterprise and must determine how to reconcile the demands and prioritize to get the best scaled outcomes for the greatest number of stakeholders.

What you are good at:

Strategy, Vision, Product Practices

  • Define and champion the near-term product vision, ensuring alignment with Schwab's strategic goals
  • Maintain and prioritize a product roadmap and backlog that reflects the needs and value to the customer and business
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including user research, requirements gathering, and go-to-market strategy
  • Lead agile practices, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure the development team is focused on delivering value with each iteration
  • Advocate for a strong user experience incorporating user feedback and analytics into product development to ensure the tool is intuitive and effective
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between users, business stakeholders, and the development team
  • Facilitate communication and translate between business requirements and technical language
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the product experience

Performance Metrics

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user engagement
  • Participate in model validation to ensure continued performance and business value of the tool
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the product strategy

Communication

  • Accountable for driving communication strategy, plan and updates to stakeholders on behalf of the Digital Rep Solutions organization
  • Communicate with legal, compliance, risk, and supervision partners to establish guidelines and standards for the Gen AI usage

Additional projects and tasks based on business needs

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • At least 5 years of product management experience
  • At least 4 years of experience within financial services indsutry
  • Understanding of generative AI technology, architecture, and terminology including LLMs, RAG, system prompts, agentic, etc.
  • Experience using/building generative AI solutions
  • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities across large internal organizations and driving towards consensus and/or a go forward strategy
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework and delivering in an Agile environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with financial research concepts, including financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis
  • Experience with financial data sources, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, IRS.gov, and understanding of structured and unstructured financial data
  • Strong business influence skills
  • Ability to distill strategy, analytics and varied sets of input to drive decisions across stakeholder communities
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills; Curiosity to continually reevaluate existing products and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems
