We are seeking a skilled Program Lead to oversee development of critical capabilities for Marketing. This role will be pivotal in accelerating initiatives that drive step-change increases in scale & efficiency, notably the foundational/ infrastructure needed to realize the long-term potential of Marketing. These foundational elements could include development of a unified data & taxonomy, vendor selection & on-boarding, seamless end-to-end process, generative AI, and the content supply chain ecosystem. The successful candidate will understand business needs, partner with technology on delivery, and facilitate effective change management throughout the execution of capability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Plan, orchestrate and deliver all aspects of assigned projects/ capabilities focused on data, content management, and process capability improvements, ensuring timely delivery of significant milestones.
  • Technology Partner: Act as a bridge to tech teams, translating business needs into technology requirements for solutions.
  • Use Case Curation & Testing: Develop, prioritize, nurture Marketing innovation learning agenda focused on prioritizing use cases that accelerate scale & efficiency objectives, including Generative AI.
  • Taxonomy Activation for Marketing: Enable capabilities that facilitate the use of a unified taxonomy to enhance content organization and retrieval, facilitating the create-once-publish-many principle for the organization.
  • End-to-End Process Optimization: Partner to streamline core Marketing processes and meta data collection from strategy through to creation, approval, publishing, performance, and retirement, ensuring efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively seek and incorporate requirements and feedback from stakeholders throughout the capability development lifecycle, ensuring that informed insights drive direction and outcomes.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to support stakeholders in adapting to new processes and technologies, ensuring a smooth transition and buy-in.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to track program success and effectiveness of capability deliverables, using data insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technology, advanced analytics and other departments to align on project goals and ensure successful delivery and execution of solutions.
  • Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest trends in AI innovations, marketing technology and data management/privacy to ensure strategies remain competitive, compliant and effective.

What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required:

  • Proven experience in product ownership and/or project management, particularly in data and content management across a connected ecosystem.
  • Experience with Schwab's marketing technology either as an associate or contractor.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex programs with disparate stakeholder perspective and needs.
  • Strong understanding of taxonomy development, content creation & distribution and personalization techniques.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies applied in marketing.

Preferred:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Organized in self-management and in facilitating delivery of others
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience in change management processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry preferred.
  • Experience in remediating regulatory, policy and privacy issues a plus.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
