DAFgiving360 was founded by Charles Schwab & Co. and while it operates as an independent charity, it is closely affiliated with and enjoys the support of Charles Schwab & Co, including contractual agreements to provide a variety of services. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co. and will be subject to its human resources and risk policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to Schwab Charitable for day-to-day activities.
In this role, the Senior Business Strategy Manager (individual contributor) will develop and deliver operational strategies that drive scale and efficiency and result in improved employee and client experiences. They will own the organization's Business Process Management (BPM) program and lead key business transformation initiatives. The Sr. Manager will also be responsible for assessing the efficacy of current state business processes, proposing future state enhancements, identifying technology opportunities to automate workflows, and informing optimal target operating models to drive operational excellence.
What you are good at
- Own Business Process Management (BPM) framework, governance, and tools and ensure all current state processes are documented with operational time standards, supporting systems, and future state opportunities
- Analyze data, conduct root cause analysis, and cultivate insights for business and operational enhancements
- Conduct business capability assessments and make recommendations around people, processes and technology
- Lead business transformation initiatives that design and develop core operational processes, inform target operating models, and deliver scale and efficiency for the broader organization
- Partner with Digital Solutions and identify system enhancement opportunities to streamline and automate operational workflows
- Establish success criteria and track the business impact and ROI of process improvements and other business transformation efforts
- Employ change management best practices to ensure internal buy in and adoption of assigned activities
- Participate in cross functional initiatives and support strategic programs
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in the financial services and/or Donor Advised Fund space
- 3+ years' of Business Process Management and/or process improvement experience
- 3+ years' of project management experience
- 3+ years' experience in Management Consulting and/or an operational strategy function
- Proven ability to develop strategic business proposals using data driven insights
- Proven track record of building relationships with business partners and stakeholders
- Experience and exposure working with and presenting to senior leadership teams; strong executive presence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Experience; Six Sigma black belt certification
