The goal of Operational Services, within Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI), is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, a Specialist is responsible for managing relationships with plan sponsors and internal business partners while ensuring absolute compliance with all regulations and requirements of ERISA Law.

As a Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to define the service that will be delivered to both the participant and plan sponsor. You will be expected to manage 100+ client relationships and serve as a subject matter expert in retirement plan loan processing and maintenance while providing consultative services to our plan sponsors. You will also be responsible for multiple operational processes within the group that include responding to client emails and internal partner inquiries, maintaining quality control and procedures, creating process improvements, mitigating risk to meet key deliverables, and exceeding client expectations.
Specifically, the position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work directly with plan sponsors to bring loans current by creating customized actionable plans, including consulting on corrective methodologies.
- Research loan and payroll history to provide plan sponsors with resolution and accurate data.
- Coordinate with internal business partners to provide quick turnaround around times on participant and client requests.
- Maintain quality control and create process improvements to meet key deliverables and exceed plan sponsor expectations.
- Daily monitoring and coordination of incoming loan modification requests.
- Participate in new plan and merger conversion meetings, assisting with new client onboarding efforts.
- Coordinate with internal business partners on unique solutions to solve client loan issues.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal errors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfortability presenting to prospective and existing clients and internal departments.
- Outstanding time management skills, acute attention to detail, including exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Track record of excelling in a team-based culture, evidenced through direct feedback from peers and business partners.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, knowing how and when to call on other resources.
- Proven ability to influence others with reasoned debate and dialogue rather than consensus building.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Administration or similar financial industry experience.
- ASPPA designation.
