The responsibilities of this position include the analysis, development, and testing of the software related to our thinkorswim (TOS) mobile application.
To provide a rich trading experience, our TOS mobile system needs to support high quantity and high frequency client interactions.
As part of the thinkorswim Mobile Performance and Automation team the selected candidate will:
• Analyze performance test results
• Link performance results to recently modified code

• Develop test scenarios
• Develop performance enhancing features and functionality
• Streamline the QA and testing processes
• Acquire and analyze data to drive development and testing decisions
• Develop and implement tools to promote efficiency of development and processes supporting the TOS mobile platform.
• Research, present, and implement technologies to enhance mobile
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
The selected candidate will work closely with the feature development and quality assurance teams to stress the capabilities of the system, identify bottlenecks, identify variances between releases, and to work with these teams and others to produce effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Java development
- Experience with multi-threaded transactional systems
- Working experience with Schwab systems and processes
- CI/CD practices
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Cloud and containerization experience
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
