The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS). The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the applications should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible team that delivers innovative business solutions leveraging emerging technologies at Schwab. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world "Through Clients' Eyes".

What You Are Good At
- Using your technical expertise to make informed decisions.
- Analyzing and evaluating code

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a software development role
- 3+ years of coding experience in C# (.NET, .NET Core)
- 2+ years of experience with full stack application development technologies, RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies
- 3 + years of Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD experience
- Working experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, CI/CD, Splunk (logging), PCF (Cloud), and Agile Practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, and learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to produce detailed design with help from leads and architects and communicate the design to the necessary stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate with teams across different geographic locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to front end system integration with Pega/Appian BPM tools
- Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem
- Effective time management skills and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
